Bruno Patino, Vice-President of ARTE GEIE and President of ARTE France, has signed an association agreement with Jet de Ranitz, Chairperson of the Dutch public broadcaster Nederlandse Publieke Omroep (NPO). The ceremony took place on January 19, 2026, during a Sting concert recording at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. With NPO joining the fold, ARTE’s European partner network now boasts 14 members, aimed at enhancing collaborative projects, co-productions, and editorial exchanges.

Patino expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting its significance in fostering European cooperation amid contemporary challenges. This agreement underscores the trust in Dutch public broadcasting expertise and opens up opportunities for NPO productions to reach a broader European audience. The deals also allow partners to participate in key organizational bodies, enhancing their influence in ARTE’s governance. The expanded network now includes partners from countries such as Ukraine, Spain, Finland, and Belgium, among others.

Fans can look forward to „Sounds Like Art – Sting,“ premiering on ARTE from March 5, 2026, featuring the artist performing amidst masterpieces in the Rijksmuseum, blending classical music with timeless hits from his illustrious career.
