In the early hours of Saturday, October 19, 2024, at around 3:00 AM, a group of thieves broke into the Esplanade Center in Porrentruy. They targeted the Swisscom Shop located within the shopping gallery, forcefully accessing the store by tampering with a metal barrier that restricted entry.
The audacious burglars executed their plan with remarkable speed, stealing various items from the shop, though an inventory of stolen goods is still pending. After their heist, the culprits fled the scene in an unknown vehicle, just moments before the police arrived. An investigation is currently underway to track down the perpetrators.
