In the early hours of April 3, 2025, a terrifying explosion rocked Mies as an attempt was made to blow up an ATM. At approximately 3:40 AM, the device, located in a local building, was severely damaged, but the culprits fled the scene empty-handed, leaving behind a chaotic scene of destruction. Thanks to the quick response of police and emergency services, no injuries were reported.
